The legendary band Linkin Park recently posted a series of tweets on their official Twitter account and remembered their first United States TV appearance while recalling how they felt before and after their performance.

As you may recall, Linkin Park had recently made it to our headlines in late December 2020, after releasing their new merchandise in honor of the 20th anniversary of their debut album ‘Hybrid Theory.’ Although it was their debut album, it ranked Number 2 in the United States Billboard charts and became a huge success.

Soon after that Linkin Park was invited to appear on TV and specifically in one of the most popular shows of all time, ‘Late Night with Conan OBrien.’ In their recent tweet, they reminisced this once in a lifetime experience and revealed how they felt before going on the show. For instance, Joe Hahn said that they bumped into Slick Rick after their performance who said that he really liked them.

The band performed ‘One Step Closer‘ which is still one of their most successful shows and their performance was highly appreciated by millions of people. The official Twitter account of Linkin Park shared the video of their live performance and included the memories of Joe Hahn and Dave Phoenix Farrell from that performance.

Here’s what the Linkin Park official Twitter account said:

“We asked Joe Hahn and Dave Phoenix Farrell what they remember from playing Conan.”

Joe Hahn remembers that:

“The day after the Conan appearance, Slick Rick was on our flight. He made a point to say hi and that he liked our performance.”

While Dave Phonix Farell said:

“I remember being nervous & concerned about what I should wear. After much deliberation, I settled on a t-shirt & oversized green pants. The black Project 86 t-shirt I would wear today if I still had it, but the choice in pants gets me teased by my daughters.”
