During a recent interview with ‘Dan Really Likes Wine,’ Linkin Park bassist Dave ‘Phoenix’ Farrell has talked about their new album plans and revealed that they have written a new song before the coronavirus lockdown.
Frankly, we had seen the latest album by Linkin Park in 2017. The latest album ‘One More Light’ was liked by most of the community. Yesterday, Linkin Park bassist Dave Farrell has joined a social media program on Facebook and talked about their secret project.
Here’s the statement of Dave Farrell:
“At this point, right now, I think globally we’re all doing a version of the same thing, you know, trying to stay home and trying to stay as healthy as possible.
For us, with the band, we’ve been kinda writing and doing that before this all started.
So casually, at this point, we’re doing Zoom meetings to eat lunch together and say hi, but we’re not able to get together and write or do that whole bit. So working at home a little bit, working up ideas.
I’ve been playing a lot of drums, just to do something new – I’ve been doing that for the last year, year and a half, and purposely making as much noise as possible to create my own space in the house.”
He added:
“Band-wise, we’re always kinda writing, we’re always working on new music right now. Obviously, with what’s going on with the international situation, we’re a little bit on pause on all that.”
