Linkin Park’s co-founder and rhythm guitarist Mike Shinoda recently made an important announcement on his twitter account about Covid-19 and started a fundraiser to support Direct Relief’s Covid-19 Response, on his Instagram account on April 9, 2020.
Shinoda’s goal is to reach $100,000 by the end of the month. He managed to raise almost 14K by now.
Direct Relief is known for helping people all over the world to improve their health and lives. They also started a campaign to provide all the protective equipment that health workers need during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mike Shinoda tweeted about his fundraiser to support the cause and reminded his fans that the fundraiser will end soon:
“My COVID-19 fundraiser ends May 31st.”
Known for his artistic abilities, he also shared an exciting decision that he made:
“I decided I’m going to give a piece of original art to whoever the top donor is :)”
His fans were quick to respond to his tweet.
