Linkin Park’s co-founder Mike Shinoda has shared a new post on his official Twitter account and showed his respect to electronic music band Depeche Mode.
As you might remember, Mike has been doing some music-making videos on the live stream, and he used applications like Instagram and Youtube in the past. However, he has been streaming on Twitch for a week.
Mike shared his latest one hour stream he made on Twitch and showed how to make 80’s song in the style of Depeche Mode during the self-quarantine days.
Here is what Mike Shinoda wrote:
“Watch now. Today’s live track: an 80’s song, in the style of Depeche Mode!”
A fan named Andy replied:
“I wish more artists would do things like this with their fans!”
Another fan named Correia Mark replied:
“Its definitely taken me back to my childhood. I was into the bands Ultravox and Level 42 who were so far apart in the genre it was funny how I bounced from one to the other. That was the foundation for me eventually discovering Linkin Park in 2001.”
