Motörhead frontman Lemmy Kilmister was recording new tracks for his solo album in summer of 2015, before he died. Unfortunately, it was not possible to complete this album.

Lemmy Kilmister’s final studio recording, “We Are the Ones” was released today. The track was recorded in collaboration with guitarist Chris Declercq and features studio drumming from Josh Freese (The Vandals/ex-A Perfect Circle, etc.) and co-producer Martin Guigui.

Chris Declercq stated:

“You opened a door no one else wanted to open for me. You allowed me to share precious moments with you as a composer, musician and friend. By helping me, you showed that you were the most generous, humble and honest man. I am honoring your gift every day and you are forever in my heart.”

Motorhead vocalist and bassist Lemmy Kilmister passed away in 2015.
