Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale posted several photos of the band members on Instagram to celebrate the 23rd birthday of Halestorm and thanked everyone who supported them throughout the years with an open letter.

The American rock band Halestorm was formed by the teen siblings Arejay and Lzzy Hale in late 1997. Their father joined them soon to play bass with the band. Later in the 2000s, the band composed today’s lineup which consisted of vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, her brother drummer Arejay Hale, guitarist Joe Hottinger, and bassist Josh Smith.

Recently on Instagram, Lzzy Hale posted the old photos of the band members taken during the journey of their musical career to celebrate the 23rd birthday of Halestorm. As you will see in the photos below, the band members had crazy memories in various places, including their appearance in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

On the caption of her post, Lzzy Hale wrote an emotional open letter and thanked everyone who contributed to the success of Halestorm over the course of many years.

Here’s what Lzzy Hale stated on the caption of her post:

My band turns 23 today. I’m so incredibly thankful for all of the friends, supporters, family, peers, promoters, radio stations, streaming stations, club owners, mgt, and label peeps for everything over the years. The boys and I come from a DIY mentality, and we came up in this business, not knowing anything except that we wanted to do music every single day.

But all of our friends that we’ve met on this long Halestorm highway gave us a shot or opened a door. It was up to us to walk through it and prove ourselves every single time opportunity came knocking.

We were (and still are) constantly learning, adapting, and staying connected to our core… We’ve never forgotten the reason we picked up our instruments in the first place.”
