Lzzy Hale shared a post on her personal Instagram account on behalf of Halestorm to wish a speedy recovery to Judas Priest lead guitarist Richie Faulkner after it was announced that he’s in the hospital due to a serious heart issue.

Judas Priest recently announced via a post on their official Twitter page that they have to postpone the remaining dates of their 50 Heavy Metal Years tour. Although the band has been touring since mid-August, they still have more than 20 dates remaining, and the tour was intended to end in early November.

Following the news, the band shared the reason behind this decision and said that their guitarist Richie Faulkner is currently in the hospital due to a heart condition. The band also advised their fans to hold on to their tickets since the tour dates will be rescheduled as soon as Faulkner’s doctors give an update on his health status.

Judas Priest’s announcement reads:

“It is with deep regret that we have to postpone the rest of our US Tour – Richie has major medical heart condition issues which landed him in hospital – in the meantime, we are all sending love to our Falcon to wish him a speedy recovery.

As soon as we have any updates from his doctors on when we can reschedule the dates, we will of course announce them – tickets will be valid.”

After the devastating news, the band members’ good friend Lzzy Hale shared a post on her official Instagram page. The singer posted a picture of Richie Faulkner and wished him a speedy recovery. In addition to this, Lzzy made a joke regarding his heart condition by saying his rock and roll heart is too passionate for this world.

Furthermore, the Halestorm frontwoman sent her best regards to Faulkner’s longtime girlfriend Mariah Lynch, the daughter of guitarist George Lynch, and the couple’s first child Daisy Mae, who was born on 8 July 2020.

Lzzy’s IG caption follows:

Our hearts go out to our good friend Richie Faulkner. We know it’ll be a speedy recovery, and we’ll see you set fire to a stage soon! Damn it, Richie, your rock n roll heart is just too big for this world! Xo Many hugs were sent to Mariah Lynch and little Daisy Mae during this scary time.”
