Lzzy Hale, the co-founder and frontwoman of Halestorm, has thanked the Outburn Magazine for putting their tribute to the legendary hard rock band AC/DC, through the cover of ‘Mistress For Christmas,’ at the top of their holiday list.
As you may recall, on the eve of 2017, Halestorm released their great cover to the iconic Christmas song of the Australian band, AC/DC, ‘Mistress For Christmas.’ The song first appeared on the 1993 album of AC/DC, ‘The Razor’s Edge.’
Halestorm worked on the song while they were getting ready to release their third cover EP, ‘Reanimate 3.0.’ A few weeks after the band appeared with their AC/DC tribute on YouTube, they came up with the cover EP on January 6, 2017.
Lzzy Hale has most recently shared the screenshot of the holiday list of the famous rock magazine, Outburn Magazine. Took the lead among a great number of Christmas songs, Halestorm’s ‘Mistress For Christmas’ cover was described as a fresh song that reflects the vibrant energy of the band by the source.
Here’s what Lzzy Hale said in her recent Instagram post:
“Thank you so much to Outburn Magazine for putting our Xmas cover of AC/DC’s ‘Mistress For Xmas’ at the top of your holiday list! Rock on my friends!”
