Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale joined Brandy Richey of Pittsburgh’s 105.9 The X for an interview in which she stated that Metallica and Foo Fighters are the bands she would like to collaborate with.
Lzzy Hale has been the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of Halestorm since she co-founded the band with her brother Arejay Hale back in 1997. Apart from making music with the band, she also contributed to many other artists.
Hale made numerous collabs with renowned artists from various genres. Some of the songs she has lent her vocals are Lindsey Stirling’s ‘Shatter Me,’ Stone Sour’s cover of ‘Gimme Shelter,’ Dream Theater’s ‘Our New World, Evanescence’s ‘Use My Voice,’ and many more.
In the interview with Brandy Richey of Pittsburgh’s 105.9 The X, Richey asked Lzzy Hale the musicians she would love to collaborate with. As a response, Hale said there are still so many artists she would love a collab.
After mentioning Pink, Ann Wilson, and Lady Gaga, the singer stated her absolute top bands are Metallica and Foo Fighters. Following that, she jokingly shouted out to Dave Grohl for a possible collaboration.
In the interview, Brandy Richey told Lzzy Hale that:
“There have been many artists to who you’ve lent your vocals. So, clearly, you stayed super busy. Is there anyone that you would absolutely love to collab with that you haven’t yet?”
Lzzy Hale then responded:
“Oh man, there are still so many. I would love to collab with Pink because I think I could bring her to the dark side. Let’s see… As far as women go… Ann Wilson from Heart. I’d love to see that as well.
Lady Gaga, I’m just shooting for the stars here. But also Metallica and Foo Fighters, those are my absolute top. So, come on Dave!”
