Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale recently posted a message on her official Twitter account and responded to some fans who reacted to Halestorm not getting any nomination in Grammy Awards.

Halestorm is still in the process of recording their new fifth studio album, which is expected to be released in 2022. They shared a single named ‘Back From The Dead’ about three months ago from the upcoming album. It is their first release since their last album, ‘Vicious,’ and therefore, it caused tremendous excitement among the fans.

However, the song wasn’t nominated for the Grammys in the category of Best Rock Song despite the positive comments it has received since its release. For the category of Best Rock Song, the nominees are Weezer’s ‘All My Favorite Songs,’ Kings of Leon’s ‘The Bandit,’ Mammoth WVH’s ‘Distance,’ Paul McCartney’s ‘Find My Way’ and Foo Fighter’s ‘Waiting on a War.’

Some Halestorm fans criticized the Recording Academy for not nominating Halestorm’s song ‘Back From The Dead’ for Best Rock Song. They said that it deserved to be nominated, and they don’t understand why it was excluded from the list. After seeing the reactions, Lzzy Hale also chimed in and responded to the fans with Alice Cooper’s words on rock music.

Here is how a fan reacted to the Grammy nominations:

“Not cool! Lzzy Hale and Halestorm should have also been nominated for their song ‘Back From The Dead.‘”

And then Lzzy Hale responded:

“In the words of Alice Cooper last time we spoke of this dilemma. ‘Rock is exactly where it needs to be right now,’ out of the spotlight and in the dirty underground. We are building, and when it’s right, we will emerge and be kings once again.”
