Halestorm‘s talented frontwoman Lzzy Hale posted a picture of the renamed street in front of the White House and showed her support for the Black Lives Matter movement by adding: ‘Keep the momentum going!!

As you might remember, the mayor of District of Columbia, Muriel Bowser renamed the plaza in front of the White House as ‘Black Lives Matter Plaza.’ She also painted a giant ‘Black Lives Matter’ mural on the street leading up to the president’s residence.

Recently on Instagram, Lzzy Hale posted the picture of the same street and showed her support for the protests against racial discrimination.

On the caption of her post, Lzzy stated:

This is such a beautiful move! Keep the momentum going!! The mayor of D.C. officially renamed the street in front of the White House Black Lives Matter Plaza and painted “Black Lives Matter” on the street leading up to the president’s residence.
