Halestorm lead singer Lzzy Hale recently shared a tweet to answer one of her fans’ questions during a Question and Answer event. While answering the question, she also revealed that she has always wished to jam with CSNY icon Neil Young.

As a successful guitarist and singer, Lzzy Hale discovered that her greatest passion is music at a very young age after watching some legendary bands and musicians’ performances. To this day, she has named Heart, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Neil Young, and Skid Row as her biggest inspirations.

In addition, in one of the previous interviews that she joined, Hale chose five essential guitar albums and one of them was Neil Young’s second studio album and first with backing band Crazy Horse, entitled ‘Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere’ which was released on May 14, 1969.

Hale stated in her interview the following:

“You may not see this one on many guitar album lists either, but Neil Young is a huge influence in how I perform as a guitarist. There’s a real ‘I don’t give a f*ck’ attitude in his approach to the guitar, along with a rawness that puts this picture in my mind of Neil just walking into a smoky bar at three A.M., plugging into whatever rig and just bringing the house down.”

The Halestorm frontwoman also highlighted that Neil Young inspired her as a guitarist. Recently, Hale responded to a fan wondering about the person she would choose to jam for an hour with by saying, Neil Young. In this way, she once again paid her respects to the rock icon and repeated her appreciation of the musician.

Here’s what a fan asked:

“If you could have an hour-long lesson/jam with any guitarist ever, who would it be?”

Hale’s tweet read:

“Neil Young.
