The iconic vocalist Marilyn Manson posted a photo of his late father on Instagram to celebrate Father’s Day and opened up about how much he missed him.
The legendary frontman Marilyn Manson’s father, Hugh Angus Warner, sadly passed away on July 7, 2017, at the age of 72. Hugh appeared on Marilyn Manson’s 2003 film ‘Doppelherz.’
Yesterday, many musicians and celebrities shared their favorite moments with their fathers or grandfathers on social media platforms to celebrated Father’s Day. Marilyn Manson also posted a picture of his late father and shared his feelings especially on this day.
“I want to thank all my friends and family who were with me when my father, Hugh Angus Warner, passed away. I miss him more than ever and I’m grateful for everything he taught me.

Three years ago, Marilyn shared the devastating news of his father’s death with his fans on Instagram and wrote:
“Today I lost my father, Hugh Warner. He taught me how to be a man, a fighter, and a survivor. He taught me how to shoot a gun. How to drive. How to lead. He will always be the best dad in the world.
Somehow and somewhere, I know he is with my mom now. I will keep my promise and never let you down. I miss and love you, dad.“
