On a recent Instagram post, Maroon 5 vocalist Adam Levine showed his stance against racism once again and couldn’t stay silent about the injustice that has been happening to the black people for a long time.
As you might remember, Adam shared his feeling two days ago by sharing a letter of Josh Gad and showed his support to the black people during the protests, which ignited after the murder of George Floyd.
Here is what Adam Levine said:
“Well, as I searched for the right words to say out loud, Josh Gad managed to say the ones I had in my heart. 🙏🏻”
Here is the part of the letter:
“Don’t ask right now. Just listen. Don’t assume. Just hear. Don’t question. Just wait to understand. I have never lived in a black person’s shoes. I have never walked down a street at night and felt fear because of the color of my skin. I have never wondered if my kids won’t come home because they looked ‘suspicious…’”
Today, Adam showed his support once again and shared a sign that says ‘Black Lives Matter.’ In this way, Adam proved that he is one of the musicians that care about human rights and earned the respect of his followers.
Here is the post that Adam Levine shared:
“Black lives, dreams, hopes, fears, future, business, view, opportunities, votes, thoughts, and people matters.”
