The whole citizens of the United States Of America shocked after the reveal of the tragic video of Ahmaud Arbery that he was killed by Gregory McMichael and his son Travis McMichael. The video went viral on the Internet and celebrities wrote their feelings about it on their social media accounts.

Today, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine has shared a photo of Ahmaud Arbery and penned down his feelings about the death of this young man.

You can read the whole letter here:

“Ahmaud Arbery, the unarmed 25-year-old black man that was hunted down and killed with a shotgun while he was jogging on a country road in Georgia on Feb. 23rd, would have turned 26 today.

Yesterday, after more than several months, the two men that murdered him in cold blood were finally arrested and charged. Justice may not have been served without your many voices. It took the pressure of social media to raise awareness and help bring this horrific event to light. I’m filled with rage by the hate and racism we continue to witness in this country. What will it take to make progress? There is still so much work to be done. Demand justice where it is needed. Continue to spread the values of equality, tolerance, acceptance and love.

Sending all of my love and condolences to Ahmaud’s family and the countless families that have experienced this pain and senseless violence. Happy Birthday, Ahmaud. Rest In Power.”
