Tool‘s iconic guitarist, Adam Jones shared the exciting news of the band’s 2019 album ‘Fear Inoculum‘ was officially certified gold for its sales of 500,000 copies in the United States.

As you might recall, the legendary rock band Tool released their fifth studio album named ‘Fear Inoculum‘ on August 30, 2019. It was the band’s first album since the release of their 2006 album ‘10,000 Days.’

The songs named ‘Fear Inoculum‘ and ‘7empest‘ were nominated for Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song and Best Metal Performance. ‘7empest’ won the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance.

On August 12, 2020, the Tool album ‘Fear Inoculum’ received the Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America for selling half a million copies in the United States.

On Instagram, Tool guitarist Adam Jones shared the exciting news of their album’s receiving a gold certification only in a year of it’s release with the fans. On the caption of his post, Adam thanked the fans for all their ‘support and dedication‘ even during the challenging days of lockdown and mentioned how honored they were to receive the gold certification from the RIAA.
