A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, and Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan posted the photo of his lovely dog, Miho, in honor of her birthday and revealed she was with him on almost every recording he did for the more than a decade.

As you may know, the legendary vocalist Maynard James Keenan has been using his social media accounts often to announce the latest news or achievements related to his bands, Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle.

For the last several weeks, Keenan has been posting the details of Puscifer‘s highly-anticipated album, ‘Existential Reckoning,‘ which was planned to be released on October 30th. Puscifer has already released the two songs from the album, ‘Apocalyptical’ and ‘The Underwhelming,’ which would be consisted of 12 songs in total.

Recently, Maynard James Keenan took the official Instagram account of Puscifer to celebrate the birthday of his beloved dog. Keenan posted the photos and a video of his dog, Miho, in honor of her 15th birthday. On the caption of his post, he mentioned what an important figure Miho had been in his life and his music career since she was there with him on almost every recording he’d done for the last 15 years, including Puscifer’s upcoming album ‘Existential Reckoning.‘

Furthermore, Keenan added an update on his caption to clarify the meaning of his dog’s name since a lot of the fans thought Miho was derived from the Japanese name ‘Mijo.’ Apparently, Miho’s name was inspired by the ‘Deadly Little Miho‘ from Sin City.

Here’s what Maynard James Keenan stated on the caption of his latest post:

“Miho’s Birthday. She turns 15 today and has been on almost every recording we’ve done since her birth, including Existential Reckoning.

Always in or near the vocal booth. Mat Mitchell, Carina Round, Billy Howerdel, A Perfect Circle, Tool, Puscifer. (edit. Miho- as in Deadly Little Miho from Sin City. Not Mijo. Japanese name.)”
