Tool and Puscifer lead singer Maynard James Keenan posted his wife Lei Li‘s photo on his Instagram account to share some good news with his friends and followers. In the post, Keenan unveiled that Lei got rid of cancer, and they are ready to celebrate her victory.
As you may recall, Keenan recently shared a post to celebrate his wife Lei Li’s birthday on Instagram. In the caption, he revealed that Li was diagnosed with cancer in November and has been fighting against it ever since. However, Li has continued to do her job as Caduceus lab manager without falling into despair.
In addition, Keenan stated in the post that Lei took chemotherapy, underwent surgery, and would start radiation therapy. He then emphasized that she had been very strong during her recovery process and defined her as his greatest muse and everything. Following that, Keenan’s fans and friends showed support for him and Lei Li on their social media accounts.
Recently, Maynard James Keenan announced that his wife Lei Li is cancer-free now. In the post, he said ‘Eat shit cancer’ and shared a photo of his wife in which she ‘rings the bell.’ Keenan then added that it is time to celebrate that with some wine and a small party as his wife’s been battling cancer for so long.

“Today my pillar of strength and source of inspiration, Lei rang that f’cking bell! Chemo, Surgery, Radiation: Done. Eat shit, cancer! Time for some 1990 Cristal and Caduceus Cellars’ Judith’s Tempranillo.”
