Maynard James Keenan, the founder and only permanent member of Puscifer, recently posted a photo on Puscifer’s official Instagram account with which he revealed their latest release and asked for a favor from Puscifer fans.
Maynard James Keenan founded the rock supergroup Puscifer in 1995. He has remained the only permanent member and has worked with over 10 people since the supergroup’s formation. After a 5-year break, the supergroup finally released a new album which was highly appreciated by their fans.
Puscifer’s 4th studio album named ‘Existential Reckoning‘ was released on the spookiest night of the year, on Halloween. The album both excited and surprised Puscifer fans as it had a more serious tone in comparison to the whimsical and humorous tone of their previous albums.
Puscifer recently posted a video of a vinyl playing one of their new songs, with which they announced that they will be shipping the pre-orders on December 11 and conclude the second official release of ‘Existential Reckoning’ on CD, Vinyl, and Cassettes to record stores all around the world.
While sharing this amazing news, Maynard also asked their fans to use the website on their bio to check which local shops have their new album. He encouraged their fans to shop local and support the small businesses which are struggling due to the pandemic.
Keenan stated that they too had problems with their initial release due to COVID-19 and demonstrated how everyone has been affected in one way or another. This kind gesture and message was supported by Puscifer fans who said that they cannot wait to get theirs from a local store.
Here’s what Maynard James Keenan stated in the caption of his post:
“This Friday, December 11 is when the remaining Pre-Orders should be shipped out. As well as the 2nd official release of Existential Reckoning on CD, Vinyl & a few Cassettes to record stores around the globe. You can use the link in our bio to track down & reach out to your local domestic stores to make sure they have E.R. coming in.
Shop Local if you can, please. These stores are struggling to weather this Covid storm. Tell them Puscifer sent you. Covid-19 threw a huge wrench in our initial release. Not something we’re happy about, but nothing we were able to do other than pull up our big boy pants and soldier on. Hope you all have a glorious holiday season. Cheers.”
