The founder and frontman of Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer, Maynard James Keenan has admitted that he was near to death while battling against COVID-19 at the beginning of this year and reacted harshly to the people who claim that the virus is only a hoax.
During his recent conversation with Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience, quite a unique musician and a hardworking entrepreneur, Maynard James Keenan, has commented on the scarry impacts and endurance of the coronavirus referring to his own experience with the illness.
Keenan, who was diagnosed with the virus in February this year, recalled the pain he felt overall his body these days. The singer said that he still has a bad cough since his lungs were damaged in that period.
When asked how does he feel about the fact that the virus continues stronger than ever before, Keenan has revealed that he still feels the residual effects. He said he did almost die and he has friends in the same situation, as well.
Maynard James also pointed out a disgusting issue that some people think he’s being paid to say these and that the coronavirus is not real. The successful frontman called out to these people and said ‘Eat a dick dude!’

“I think the big thing, like kind of circling back is I’m still feeling residual effects of that thing. I did almost die. I have friends who have almost died. It was ugly.
People are going like apparently I’m being paid to say this. Eat a dick dude!“
