The fan page on Instagram dedicated to Tool and Puscifer frontman Maynard James Keenan reposted a photo of Keenan having lunch with his friends shared by the bands’ photographer who made a joke about the ongoing wildfires in California.
As you might know, a week ago, a fire sparked by a smoke-generating pyrotechnic device used during a gender reveal party in El Dorado Ranch Park. Unfortunately, more than 10,000 acres have burned within the first week.
Recently, a fan account on Instagram dedicated to Maynard James Keenan reposted a photo shared by Tool and Puscifer’s photographer Tim Cadiente taken during a lunch they had the other day. On the caption of the post, Tim made a joke about the ongoing wildfires burning across California and claimed Keenan was trying to convince him to invest in his gender reveal party company.
Moreover, he asked the opinions of his followers whether this business was on fire this time of the year. Later, the fan account also shared the photo of Keenan with the same caption which received various reactions from the fans.
Some of the fans thought it was okay to laugh at these things since people had been struggling with a lot and need to relax. While some of them stated that this joke might have been offensive for those people who lost their houses during the wildfires.

“Not really funny when you are surrounded by fires and everyone you care about is losing their homes.”
Another fan pointed out the horrible situation some people had to suffer and wrote:
“Probably not very tasteful making jokes as people are being found burned in their cars holding their children and dogs.”
On the other hand, some of the fans defended being able to laugh about these sorts of things since it helped them to feel better.
