The official and verified Instagram account of the legendary heavy metal band Megadeth has posted an unforgettable photo from 1999’s ‘Risk Tour‘ and recalled the day they had to perform three different shows in just 24 hours.

As you might already remember, ‘Risk’ was the eighth studio album of Megadeth which was released back in 1999 and it was the last-ever album that was released by Capitol Records. Just after the release of the album, ‘Risk’ got mixed reviews from the authorities and could not be as successful as the other Megadeth albums chart-wise.

These days, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine has blamed the PR department of Capitol Records because of its lack of success. However, the ‘Risk Tour’ was whole another story and the band has managed to rock the stage many times including a night with Sammy Hagar at the KSJO Radio after a show in San Diego.

Today, they’ve recalled the times they had to perform three-in-a-row in just one day.

Here is the story that’s written in the caption:

“The Megadeth Risk Tour 1999. This was the day we performed three shows in 24 hours. Pictured here after the Arizona State Fair performance where we then boarded the plane to fly to San Diego for a large radio show that night.

Then, early the next morning, we jetted up to San Jose to perform with Sammy Hagar at the KSJO radio festival that afternoon. All in the name of rock!”
