The bassist, and co-founder of Megadeth, David Ellefson, recently posted a photo on his Instagram account and informed his fans about his latest collaboration with Stay In Tune Strings which was highly appreciated by fellow bass guitar players.
As you may know, the 56 years old metal head is mostly known for being the co-founder and second-longest serving member of the iconic metal band Megadeth, but aside from that, he is famous for his successful side projects such as F5, Killing Machine, Temple of Brutality, and Metal Allegiance.
However, Ellefson’s career is not limited to metal music as he’s also an entrepreneur. He is a well-known coffee addict and even has his own brand, Ellefson Coffee Co. However, in late December 2020, he also collaborated with the world-famous Stay In Tune string brand and released his custom made ‘The David Ellefson FUSION Signature Bass Set.’
With his recent Instagram post, he reminded his fans of his latest product and advised them to check it out. Ellefson said that he selected and gauged these special nickel strings bearing in mind his touring and recording needs. By the way, the strings are now in sale and they can be purchased for almost half of their initial price.
Here’s what David Ellefson said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:
“Repost. New! The David Ellefson FUSION Signature Bass Set. 92/8 phosphor bronze under–wrap wire and an S.I.T. Fusion Wound cover wrap.
