The official and verified Instagram account of Megadeth has shared a new photo today and announced that Dave Mustaine has signed and gifted his own ‘Les Paul Studio’ electric guitar to help and raise awareness for the mental issues.
‘Les Paul Studio’ was released back in 2019 and according to the official press release, it features enhancements for playability and tonal versatility. ‘Les Paul Studio’ comes with 490R and 498T pickups and it’s available with four finishes: Wine Red, Ebony, Smokehouse Burst, and the one that Dave has donated, Tangerine Burst.
According to the statement of Megadeth, Dave’s guitar was hand-signed and it’s now available to bid via Charity Buzz. All benefits from the audition will be transferred to Charity Bomb which aims to create an emotional intelligence education platform for kids, teachers, and parents to reverse the trends of bullying, depression, and suicide.
The current bid of the guitar while we are writing this article is $2,950. The auction will end on March 16, 04:18 PM EDT.
