Metallica posted the teaser of their new upcoming podcast featuring the band’s frontman James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich as a part of the 30th anniversary of ‘The Black Album’ on their official Instagram account.
Metallica released their fifth studio album, which was widely known as ‘The Black Album,’ on August 12, 1991. It became the most popular and commercially successful album of the band by being certified 16× platinum. Some of the album’s tracks such as ‘Enter Sandman,’ ‘Nothing Else Matters,’ and ‘Sad but True’ are still the most-known songs of Metallica.
As the celebration of the 30th anniversary of ‘The Black Album,’ Metallica recently revealed via their social media accounts that ‘The Black Album Remastared’ along with ‘The Metallica Black List,’ featuring covers of Metallica songs by various artists, will be released on September 10, 2021.
In addition to these projects, Metallica announced their new podcast with the words of James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich on Instagram. ‘The Metallica Podcast’ will probably be available on August 12 on all platforms, which is also the release date of ‘The Black Album.’ Also, the first eight episodes will consist of the stories behind the creation process of the album.
