Metallica has announced the three years of the Metallica Scholars program by sharing a new post on their official Instagram account.
Normally, Metallica would arrange a Month of Giving Charity Run to raise funds for their All Within My Hands Foundation. However, they postpone the event to announce another great news.
As Metallica revealed that they renewed the partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges, they also stated that they are expanding their school numbers to 23 from 15.
As you might already know, the Metallica Scholars program supporting the major workforce education by providing direct support. In 2019, ten colleges received $100.000 each to support 1000 students, and it was expended 15 in last year.
Here is the official announcement from Metallica:
“We interrupt our regularly scheduled Month Of Giving programming for an exciting Metallica Scholars announcement! All of us at All Within My Hands Foundation are thrilled to share that not only will we be renewing our partnership with the American Association of Community Colleges, but we’re expanding to 23 schools.
The current 15 community colleges will be continuing with the program and we will be welcoming eight more in the coming months. We will be joined again by Wolverine Boots as we commit $1.6 Million in funding to further our goal of reinvesting in communities that have supported Metallica over the last four decades.”
