Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has shared a new Instagram post, and thanks fans for insane attendance record.
Metallica’s March 9 concert at Louisville, Kentucky’s KFC Yum! Center shattered the venue’s attendance record with a crowd of 23,000 fans.
Lars wrote on Instagram:
“Louisville…. now that was over the top, way fuckin over the top! 23.000 of you crammed in to the rafters, vibe insane, energy otherworldly.. what a Saturday night rush!! Thank you to everyone from near and far who rolled out in the nutty weather… and once again we blew the attendance record out the door.”
He continued:
“Btw, when I keep mentioning these attendance records it’s because it is amazing that the ‘Tallica family, young and old, new and lifers, come together from all over and share music, events, experiences and connect to each other … and we do in it numbers that are breaking records.
That’s the power of what we all do together and those crazy records are ultimately for you and about you. Thank you 🙏!!”
