As you might already familiar from our ongoing articles that Metallica legend James Hetfield is battling with his alcohol addiction for almost six months.
As James continues to struggle with alcohol on rehab, in February, Metallica had to cancel the ‘Song Temple’ and ‘Louder Than Life’ performances due to James’ ongoing issues.
While the whole fans are curious about James’ latest status, American rock band REO Speedwagon’s official Twitter account exposed the recent look of James Hetfield on social media.
Reo Speedwagon published a recent statement on their official website and penned the details of the stars who participated in Eddie Money’s tribute concert, including Metallica legend James Hetfield.
Also, they published a rare photo of James playing with other legendary musicians.
Here is some part of their statement:
“Hi Friends, the tribute concert we did for our friend and neighbor, the late great Eddie Money was an emotional and exhilarating night. There were a number of highlights, including James Hetfield of Metallica singing a solo acoustic version of “Baby Hold On To Me”. His take put that song in a whole new light for me, and was such a profound moment in the concert.
Naturally, Sammy Hagar (The Red Rocker) put his rocking stamp on “Shakin’”, and Mickey Thomas nailed “Walk On Water”, my personal favorite Eddie Money song, written by our old friend Jesse Harms. Dave and I put the REO spin on “I Think I’m In Love.”

Eddie is gone, but will never be forgotten. The outpouring of love for Eddie has been so important to his wife Laurie and their children. pic.twitter.com/NDPlTEUFgF
