After the official announcement of Metallica legend, James Hetfield is struggling alcohol addiction for a while, Metallica podcast Speak N’ Destroy’s twitter account posted a new tweet on social media.

They revealed how Metallica members wanted to replace James Hetfield with John Bush.

Here is what they wrote:

frontman John Bush to be their singer. He here is doing “Four Horsemen” with the boys at one of the 30th anniversary shows. #MetallicaMultiverse.”

Former Metallica member, Ron McGovney responded to that tweet and backed the story with his tweet.

Here is what he wrote:

“I remember how much Lars wanted John Bush. We got Sammy DeJohn from Ruthless for about 3 weeks of band practice. Nice guy , but it didn’t work out.”
