Kirk Hammett, the lead guitarist and a contributing songwriter of the legendary heavy metal band Metallica, has appeared before the cameras to explain the main purposes of the band’s foundation and announced the upcoming show, which was organized for the good of countless people.

As you may know, Metallica has been preparing for a big event, ‘The Helping Hands Concert & Auction,’ to help people in need due to the challenges they faced such as wildfire, a flood, an earthquake, or COVID-19.

On the eve of the quite beneficial project organized by All Within My Hands Foundation of Metallica, the members of the band have shown up on the official Instagram page to give details about the current works of the foundation, as well as to unveil the biggest aim of their upcoming performance.

As you may recall, Lars Ulrich shared a video message, explaining that there are various ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others, a few days ago. While reminding the fans of the next show, which will be an acoustic performance benefitting their foundation, Ulrich opened up about food insecurity, which is something that indiscriminately poses a risk to citizens all around the world.

Most recently, the iconic guitarist of Metallica, Kirk Hammett, has taken the official account of the band with an enlightening video. Hammett has talked about the mission of All Within My Hands Foundation and indicated the fact that, as a band, they want to give back to the people who supported them for years.

Counting the fields they help people about, Hammett said it’s possible to make a difference by concentrating on sending resources to the ones who were damaged by the disasters. The inspiring video of Hammett reminded once again of Metallica’s acoustic show and auction which were scheduled for November 14.

In the caption of the video, it was stated that all proceeds from ticket sales will help communities in need, including the emergency relief funds the band supports. As you might remember, in February of 2017, Metallica announced the formation of All Within My Hands.

The Foundation aims to assist and enrich the lives of members of the communities who have supported the band for years, as well as encourage participation from fans and friends.

Here’s what Kirk Hammett said in the video:

“Now that we have our own charity we can use it like a laser to focus and send resources to wherever we feel it’s needed. The whole fire relief thing, various disasters have been happening, earthquake relief, flood relief, helping out with COVID, giving back to the people after all the goodness they’ve given to us.

I certainly believe in doing that. You can concentrate on sending resources to situations, to the people, and really make a difference. That’s a really really strong obligation that we all feel.”

In the caption of the post, it was said that:

“Kirk talks about how the All Within My Hands Foundation is designed to react to disasters and aid in relief efforts in real time. The third prong of All Within My Hands Foundation’s mission is to support critical local services.

We are able to provide resources for organizations on the front lines, and we take that responsibility seriously. Whether the challenge being faced is a wildfire, a flood, an earthquake, or COVID-19, we want to contribute to the recovery and help people return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

The Helping Hands Concert & Auction is an acoustic show benefitting All Within My Hands Foundation, beginning at 2 PM PST on Saturday, November 14. All proceeds from ticket sales will help communities in need, including the emergency relief funds we support.”
