On the Youtube account of Metallica’s foundation, ‘All Within My Hands,’ Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich announced the new project of Metallica and showed their support to the community in these rough times.

As you might already know, Metallica has been doing charity funds in every May since 2017 and trying to help the people who are suffering from hunger. Also, they are trying to support workforce education.

However, Metallica couldn’t do anything this year due to the coronavirus outbreak, and they started to think about how they can help the community. Afterward, Metallica members decided to raise funds for this epidemic.

Lars stated that they would share four organizations, which Metallica is supporting throughout this pandemic, on social media each week of this month and show how you can help the fight against coronavirus with your donations.

Here is what Lars Ulrich said:

“Inspired by today’s #GivingTuesdayNow, a new global date of giving in response to the global need caused by COVID-19, we’re going to spotlight four organizations we’re supporting throughout this crisis.”

Lars continued:

“Each week this month, we will share with you what these organizations do and show you how you can chip in to help.

We’ll be contributing proceeds from special weekly featured merchandise in the Metallica store and continuing to donate funds raised during the #MetallicaMondays streaming concerts.”
