Here is the story of the photos by Lars Ulrich:
“24 years ago today, September 3rd 1995, we played one of the more unusual gigs of our career…
At the very tip-top of Canada, all the up on the Arctic Ocean lies the village of Tuktoyaktuk … and someone somewhere came up with the crazy cool idea of flying four bands and a bunch of contest winning music fans up there for a bit of a Rock n’ Roll get-together over a coupla days time in the late summer.
The locals were very welcoming and gracious and all the members of ‘Tallica, Hole, Veruca Salt and Moist mingled, hung out, did meet-and greets, rocked the imported winners and the locals in the big ass tent that was set up and generally had an awesome fucking time. Yes indeed, Cheers!!… to one of the wackier experiences from back in the day! #wanna 📸 by Mark Leialoha”
