Former Van Halen singer and current member of The Circle, Sammy Hagar, took his official Instagram account to share a new post and revealed his bandmate Michael Anthony’s opinion about the latest project of the band.

As you might already know, The Circle is a supergroup that formed back in 2014, featuring Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony, Jason Bonham, and Vic Johnson. In 2019, they released their debut album, Space Between.

Last year, the band started to record a lockdown album during the coronavirus outbreak and released new singles, which they recorded online. At the start of 2021, they released a new album, named Lockdown 2020.

Buffalo Springfield’s ‘For What’s Worth’ song was one of the singles of this album, and it seems like the song has become of the favorite songs of Michae Anthony. Also, he mentioned that he would listen to this song from Buffalo Springfield a lot.

Here is what Michael Anthony said:

“Sammy was the one who suggested that we do this song and I’m glad he did. It’s one of the favorite songs of mine.

Growing up, I used to have this album by Buffalo Springfield called ‘Retrospective,’ kind of like a best of, and this was one of the songs off that album and I listened to it all the time.”
