Former Van Halen star Michael Anthony was the latest guest of Talkin’ Rock With Meltdown’s first-ever interview of 2021 and talked about many things from Sammy Hagar’s approach to his songs and how was their relationship with Eddie Van Halen before he died.

As you may already remember, Sammy Hagar has made a recent statement last month and confessed that he had the chance to speak with Eddie Van Halen before he died and they’ve managed to settle things up after many years. However, it seems that things did not end well with Michael and Eddie.

After being fired from Van Halen back in 2007, Michael Anthony’s photos from the older covers of Van Halen have been replaced with Wolf Van Halen and even Wolf has admitted that it was some of the most disrespectful things in the history of VH.

According to Michael’s latest interview with Talkin’ Rock With Meltdown that was released last week, Anthony admitted that they’ve never had any chance to speak with Eddie and they had some issues that never resolved.

Here is what Michael Anthony said:

“We actually hadn’t spoken, and unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to. And, you know, it kind of bothers me, because we had some issues that were never resolved.

But, I mean, what can you do? We were on track [for] a reunion, which I’m really sad that it never happened. But, you know, life and the show goes on.”
