The daughter of Michael Jackson and talented musician, Paris Jackson has criticized the corrupted and cruel beauty standards of fashion and talked about her own modeling experience.

Along with her musician identity, Paris Jackson has been pursuing her career as a model since 2017. In March of that year, Jackson signed a modeling contract with IMG Models, which is an international modeling agency headquartered in New York City and with additional offices in London, Los Angeles, Milan, Paris, and Sydney.

In the business for a long time now, Paris wanted to draw attention to the most dangerous side of the industry. It has been generally known that some modeling agencies force people to unhealthy nutrition. Paris has reposted detailed research about the issue, in which the analyst observed the undeniable relation between eating disorder and modeling.

Paris has stated that this topic is so important and she is deeply grateful to be a part of an agency that signs people of all shapes, colors, and sizes. She has expressed one of her biggest wishes while saying she hopes that one day we will not only see more people that differ from the media’s standard of beauty on the covers of magazines and billboards but on the runway as well.

Here is what Paris Jackson said in her recent Instagram post:

Reposting this because it’s so important. I’m so deeply grateful to be a part of an agency that signs people of all shapes, colours, and sizes.

And I hope that one day soon we will not only see more people that differ from the media’s template/standard of beauty on the covers of magazines and billboards, but on the runway as well.”
