Former drummer of Dream Theater and current member of Sons Of Apollo, Mike Portnoy, took to his official Instagram account to make a new postponement announcement and revealed the new tour dates of the band.

Sons Of Apollo was one of the bands who wanted to do a tour in 2020, but they are faced against a big threat, coronavirus. Because of that, they forced to postpone their events even they didn’t want to. And now, they rescheduled the dates once again due to the outbreak.

In the post, Mike stated that Sons Of Apollo’s World Tour is rescheduled and revealed the dates of the South American leg, which will be starting on April 9, 2021. Also, he replied to a fan and said that most of the European tour dates are rescheduled, and the new dates will be released soon on the official social media accounts of the band.

Moreover, Mike wrote that he is hoping they can meet the audience this time and warned the fans that if they could wear masks and be careful during the coronavirus outbreak, the tour will eventually happen.

Here is what Mike Portnoy said:

“The Sons Of Apollo South American Dates have been rescheduled (again) pending the World’s conditions next year…

Fingers crossed they will be able to happen 🤞 Mask up and be responsible and hopefully they will! 😷”

A fan named Ricardo added this comment:

“Europe? 🥺”

Mike Portnoy replied:

“Most European dates have also been rescheduled and announced for MMXXI as well… Check the SOA socials.”
