Dream Theater’s former drummer, Mike Portnoy, recently posted a photo on his Instagram account and announced that the ‘Ultimate Version’ combining both of Transatlantic’s new albums is now back in stock and advised his fans to check it out.

Aside from his successful career with Dream Theatre, Mike Portnoy is also known for his side projects such as his tenure in the rock supergroup Transatlantic. As you may recall, a couple of months ago, Transatlantic had announced that they’re going to release a new album after a 7yearlongbreak.

The band’s album ‘The Absolute Universe’ was released on February 5, 2021, in three different versions, namely; ‘The Absolute Universe: The Breath Of Life (Abridged Version),’ ‘The Absolute Universe: Forevermore (Extended Version),’ and the third version which combines the previous two and includes some extras, ‘The Absolute Universe: The Ultimate Edition.’

The Ultimate Edition includes a ‘gorgeous accompanying film,’ a making-of documentary that takes the viewers behind the scenes, and many more. As it turns out, this was the album that fans loved the most because, in his recent post, Mike Portnoy said that it is now back ‘by popular demand‘ and encouraged his fans to check it out and get their copy as soon as possible.

Here’s what Mike Portnoy said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:

“OUT TODAY! By Popular demand: ‘The Absolute Universeon standalone bluray.
