Former drummer of Dream Theather, Mike Portnoy, mourned the death of his long-time friend and musician who died three years ago today, David Z, by making a new announcement on his official Instagram account.
Mike stated that he will be attending the David Z Foundation’s ‘3rd Annual Fundraiser’ to pay tribute to his late friend and honor his legacy. Also, Mike said that this event will be an awesome online concert with so many talented musicians.
The bass guitarist of Adrenaline Mob and co-founder of ZO2, David Z, died at the age of 38 due to the traffic collision and his friends are arranging a fundraiser to honor his legacy since then. This year, Dee Snider, Mikkey Dee, Eddie Ojeda, and many legendary musicians will attend the fundraiser.

I will be participating in the 3rd Annual David Z Fundraiser raising money for music education in memory of our friend David Zablidowsky.
