Mötley Crüe bass guitarist Nikki Sixx has made another question & answer sessions via his official Twitter account and explained why Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash wasn’t in the music video of his newest project.
As you might already know, Nikki released a new song yesterday named ‘Maybe It’s Time,’ features the musicians like Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Def Leppard’s Joe Elliot, Guns N’ Roses’ Slash, and many more.
This song released to help the people who are suffering from substance use and trying to recover from the addiction. The profit will be donated to the Global Recovery Initiatives foundation, and this song also will be in the tracklist of the Sno Babies movie.
In the music video, we couldn’t see Slash playing his guitar and dominate the song with his solo part, even though he played his part on the recording. Because of that, lots of fans wondering why Slash wasn’t in the video, and some of them asked Nikki about this situation.
Nikki responded to the fans and clarified that they couldn’t get the footage of Slash while he was playing his solo and praised his talent by saying that it was an awesome solo. Also, Nikki stated that it was an honor to play with him in this kind of project.
A fan named Rose asked:
“Why can’t we see Slash in the video?”
Nikki Sixx replied:
“We didn’t get footage of him cutting his solo sadly. Honored he jumped in to support the project and what a bad ass solo too.”
