According to the recent news of a Hollywood entertainment site, Mötley Crüe icon Tommy Lee‘s famous sex tape scandal with the Playboy model Pamela Anderson, which broke out in the 90s, will be a new limited series for Hulu.

The American subscription video-on-demand service, Hulu, is set to bring one of the most shocking events of 1995 out in a new series starred by the ‘Cinderella’ actress, Lily James, and the famous actor, Sebastian Stan, who gained worldwide recognition for his role as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For the series, which is titled ‘Pam & Tommy,’ Seth Rogen is on the table to play the man who stole the sex tape. ‘Pam & Tommy,’ which is planned to be directed by the ‘I, Tonya’ director Craig Gillespie and written by Rob Siegel, will be shot in the spring as an eight-episode series.

As you may remember, Anderson and Lee married on February 19, 1995, after knowing each other only for 96 hours, or 4 days. The two got married on a beach without informing their families. According to the rumors, Anderson’s mother learned of the marriage from the People magazine.

In 1995, three years before their split, the sex tape of Lee and Anderson, which was taken during their honeymoon, was stolen from their home and went viral on the Internet. The Canadian model sued the video distribution company which spread the tape.

However, after a while, the couple made an agreement with the Internet Entertainment Group. The company began making the tape available to subscribers to its websites and triplicated the traffic on their sites.

Here’s what Tommy Lee previously stated about his famous sex tape:

“I don’t know what’s so interesting about watching a married couple fuck. I’m not the President. We were on vacation doing something the rest of the world does — filming each other goofing around, naked. It’s no big deal.”
