The co-founder and bass guitarist of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx, recently posted a photo on his Instagram account and talked about a new charity project that he’s involved in which will be in support of the people in the music industry.
As you know, Nikki Sixx highly enjoys using his social media accounts, and in specific his Instagram and Twitter. He uses his Twitter account to share his views on social and political matters or rock music, and to interact with his fans. However, he prefers his Instagram account to share sneak peeks from his life and inform his fans about his latest projects.
Recently, he posted a photo of himself holding a signed guitar and announced that he’s participating in an auction in support of the music industry. Sixx said that he’s honored to be a part of the ‘MusiCares Charity Relief Auction‘ which aims to raise money in support of the people in the music industry whose careers have been affected by the pandemic.
Sixx will be auctioning a fully signed Schecter bass guitar which is apparently one of his favorites. The person who gets it will also receive a handwritten note by Sixx which reads ‘Always Kick-Ass & Do our Best Nikki Sixx Motley Crue 2020’ including a caricature self-portrait.
Here’s what Nikki Sixx said in the caption of his Instagram post:
