Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx posted a photo on Instagram while he was traveling by plane, however, when a fan reminded the lyrics of his famous song ‘Too Fast for Love‘ he felt sorry since it would have been the perfect caption for his photo.

One of the most iconic bands of all time, Mötley Crüe was founded in 1981 by bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, lead guitarist Mick Mars and lead singer Vince Neil. They released their debut album, ‘Too Fast for Love‘ on November 10, 1981, which was ranked #22 on the list named ‘100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time‘ of Rolling Stone. Nikki Sixx wrote almost all the songs in the album, including ‘Too Fast for Love.’

Recently on Instagram, Nikki Sixx shared a photo of the sky he took while he was traveling by plane. On the caption of his post, Sixx expressed his feelings of seeing an amazing view of the blue sky and stated:

Blue skies above and smoke below…

However, in the comment section of the post, a Mötley Crüe fan reminded the lyrics of ‘Too Fast for Love’ which would have been the perfect caption for Nikki’s photo.

Here’s the part of the song the Mötley Crüe fan suggested as a better fit for the photo:

Living on a jet making love to someone else’s dream 🖤🤘

As a response to the fan’s comment, Nikki Sixx admitted he didn’t think about the lyrics of his own song. Sixx also seemed to be regretting not to use it for the caption of his photo by stating that he wished he thought of that before since it would have been the perfect caption.

Here’s how Nikki Sixx replied the fan’s suggestion:

“I wish I thought of that for this capture. 👍🏽
