Mötley Crüe bassist and co-founding member of the band, Nikki Sixx, posted a new tweet on his official Twitter account today and shared some great news for those who are waiting for something new from his side band, Sixx:A.M.
As well as being the co-founding member of Crüe, Nikki is also the founder of his side band named Sixx:A.M. The California-based band was formed by DJ Ashba, James Michael, and Nikki himself back in 2007 and they released five studio albums and two EP’s so far.
While the band released their latest ever single named ‘Maybe It’s Time’ that features Joe Elliott, Ivan Moody, Slash Corey Taylor, and Brantley Gilbert last year, the band keeps its silent since the coronavirus outbreak. However, today, Nikki took his verified Twitter account and surprised his fanbase by saying that they are working on something new with DJ Ashba and James Michael.
Here is what Sixx wrote:
“Been working on Sixx:A.M. with James and DJ Ashba.
There is always some kinda magic that happens.”
