Nikki Sixx, the co-founder, bassist, and primary songwriter of Mötley Crüe, shared a post on his official Twitter page revealing his favorite tour memories when a fan asked about ‘The Dirt’ during a Q&A tweet thread.
‘The Dirt’ is a biographical comedy-drama about the tours and history of Mötley Crüe and released digitally on Netflix on 22 March 2019. The movie received generally negative reviews from critics, who said it would please fans yet it hesitated in handling the more troubling aspects of the band’s history.
Nikki Sixx started a Q&A session on his official Twitter page for his fans with a hashtag #AskSixx and fans poured questions from his favorite tour to music advice and to his favorite song. While Sixx answered most of his fans’ questions, a reply revealed his opinions on the tours of Mötley Crüe.
A fan asked about his favorite tour memory that fans could not see in their biographical movie ‘The Dirt.’ Nikki Sixx shared a post on his official Twitter page answering his fan’s question and stating that early tours were his favorite ones and referred to every day as an adventure.
Here is what his fan asked:
“Favorite tour memory not seen in The Dirt?“
Here is how Sixx replied:
“Some of those early tours. Every day was a new adventure.”
