Mötley Crüe‘s iconic bassist Nikki Sixx posted another photo of the upcoming project of his band Sixx: A.M. on Instagram and share the details of his collaboration with rock legends, such as Joe Elliott, Slash, and Corey Taylor.

A few days ago, Mötley Crüe co-founder and bassist Nikki Sixx revealed that he had been working on something new with his band Sixx: A.M. In 2007, Nikki formed Sixx: A.M. as a side project along with former Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba and vocalist James Michael.

In his previous Instagram post, Nikki Sixx shared a photo of a project he conducted with Sixx: A.M. featuring Slash, Corey Taylor, Joe Elliott, Brantley Gilbert, Ivan Moody, Awolnation, Tommy Vext. He didn’t give many details about the project besides the name ‘Maybe It’s Time,’ which referred to a song of the band’s 2016 album ‘Vol. 2, Prayers For The Blessed.‘

Recently, Nikki deleted his Instagram post about the mysterious project and uploaded a new photo to share the details that the fans were looking forward to. Apparently, Sixx: A.M collaborated with the rock icons to record a new version of their song ‘Maybe It’s Time’ to support the fight against substance abuse.

Furthermore, the song would be used as a part of the soundtrack of the film ‘Sno Babies‘ which depicted the story of two friends struggling with addiction. The song will be available on August 21, 2020, on music streaming platforms.

Here’s the caption of the latest announcement of Nikki’s new project:

“SIXX AM is proud to present Artists For Recovery. ‘Maybe It’s Time’ brings together artists to help fight substance use disorders and help people in recovery.

The song will be available Friday everywhere you get your music, and will be part of the Sno Babies movie soundtrack.”
