The official Instagram account of Mötley Crüe posted the photo of Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth in honor of his 66th birthday, however, the fans were still mourning after the death of Eddie Van Halen.

The rock music community has been devastated since the news of the guitar legend Eddie Van Halen’s death was revealed by his son Wolfgang. The renowned lead guitarist and the co-founder of Van Halen, Eddie passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 65, following his long and vicious battle with throat cancer. 

While his family and friends have been trying to cope with his tragic loss, the official Instagram account of Mötley Crüe posted a picture of Van Halen vocalist and Eddie’s beloved bandmate David Lee Roth to celebrate his 66th birthday. They posted a photo of David with Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and wished the legendary frontman a happy birthday.

However, the fans were focused on something else than David Lee Roth’s birthday. In the comment section of the post, fans shared various messages to pay tribute to the recently deceased Van Halen icon and Roth’s dear friend Eddie. The fans’ responses to the photo proved that the rock music community would be mourning after Eddie and his unique talent for a long time.
