Muse frontman Matt Bellamy and bass guitarist Dominic Howard spoke in an interview with Absolute Radio. They revealed their favorite video games.

Also, Matt Bellamy said that ‘Muse wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the Amiga 500.’

Here’s the statement of Matt Bellamy:

“Muse wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for the Amiga 500. I had an Amiga 500 with the one-megabyte upgrade. [Laughs]

“And that upgrade is why Dom used to come over to my house all the time. I was the only one that had an Amiga 500 with a 1 MB upgrade.”

Dominic added:

“We bonded over the [1989 video game] ‘It Came From the Desert.'”

Matt said:

“And… what was that pirate game?”

Dominic said ‘Monkey Island.’ and Matt talked again:

“Yeah, that was like 12 discs – 12 floppy discs, you know what I mean? Like, every level you gotta change the disc. [Laughs]”
