Queen legend Freddie Mercury’s one of the biggest fan clubs on the social media, FreddieMercuryClub posted a bunch of new posts on Instagram and gave interesting info about Freddie’s nail polish.
FreddieMercuryClub also revealed the reason why Freddie was just wearing black nail on his left hand.
Here is the caption:
“Freddie used to wear black nail polish during Queen’s glam rock era in the early to mid 70s.
As you might have noticed, however, Freddie only painted the fingernails of his left hand.
The reason why?
Well as Freddie was right handed he simply couldn’t do his right hand so he decided to only paint his left hand and forget about the right one all together 😁”

💥Freddie's Nail Polish💥 . ✨Freddie used to wear black nail polish during Queen's glam rock era in the early to mid 70s. . ✨As you might have noticed, however, Freddie only painted the finger nails of his left hand. . ✨The reason why? Well as Freddie was right handed he simply couldn't do his right hand so he decided to only paint his left hand and forget about the right one all together 😁 . ✨Being Freddie, the left hand nail polish became yet another iconic trademark which added to the mystery of our Killer Queen. . ✨As Freddie's stage outfit and persona usually had some association with Queen's music and albums at the time of touring (The Black side of Queen II album was written solely by Freddie), the black nail polish on the left hand seemed to fit the music as well as some allusions to dark and devilish themes in the lyrics Freddie was writing back then. . ✨"The March of the Black Queen" is a great example as Freddie sings: I reign with my left hand I rule with my right I'm lord of all darkness I'm queen of the night…🎶 . 👉P.S. Always a trend setter and weary of the tinest details that would turn a performance from satisfying to magical. And you gotta admit, nailpolish never looked more fabulous on ANYONE. 😏🔥 . #FreddieMercury #nailpolish
