Legendary guitarist/vocalist of Buffalo Springfield, Neil Young, has shared a new post on his official Instagram account and admitted the untold truth about the band’s failure.

In the caption of the post, Neil Young stated that they were so young and couldn’t reach their potential with Buffalo Springfield in the past. Also, he confessed that their only real hit was ‘For What It’s Worth’ song, which released in 1966.

After seeing this post, most of the fans headed to the comment section to share their thoughts about the band.

“Stills’ song ‘For What its worth was the Springfield’s only real hit! A great song. This was an amazing band! We never reached our peak potential. We were pretty young!”
