The official Instagram page of Nickelback shared a post in order to celebrate ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons’ 71st birthday and expressed their appreciation for having Gibbons as a friend for many years.
As you may know, Billy Gibbons has contributed to many other bands and artists other than his own, he worked with Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell for his 2005 solo album, Gibbons was one of the several artists to join B.B. King on the song ‘Tired Of Your Love.’
In addition to these artists, Bill Gibbons appeared on Nickelback’s fifth studio album All The Right Reasons for their songs ‘Follow You Home,’ ‘Fight for All the Wrong Reasons,’ and finally ‘Rockstar.’
Billy Gibson also was one of the most influential and greatest guitarists in the world and even iconic guitarist Jimi Hendrix once revealed that his favorite guitar player was, in fact, Billy Gibbons.
Since it was Gibbons’ 71st birthday a few days ago, Nickelback shared a post on their official Instagram page in order to celebrate Billy Gibbons’ birthday. The band apparently has huge admiration for Gibbons as they stressed their appreciation for having him as a friend.
